Big congratulatipons to the Eruption SUPA 8man KO Champion! Michael “Tomahawk” Thompson.
Michael fought hard in all fights to be claimed as the first SUPA 8man KO Champion. His first fight was against Clayton Cook from Cooktown. Result: 1st round to TKO to the Tomahawk.
Fight number 2 for Tomahawk was against Kevin from NTG. This was a real cracker of a fight and saw Michael and Kevin go the distance. Kevin dominated the grapple early with Michael eventually finding room to open up with a exciting display of boxing and kicking combinations. Results: Michael Tomahawk Thompson with a points win over Kevin from NTG
The last fight was against Sing Sing from Thailand. Sing Sing had progressed to the finals with hard fights against Benai from Mad X gyrm and Ghot Seur Noi from NTG. Both fights for Sing Sing went the distance with Sing Sing showing great heart to make it to the finals.
Both boys came out firing. From early in the first round Tomahawks nose gave him trouble as it was continuously bleeding from his previous bout with Kevin from NTG. Despite this Tomahawk pushed on. Both boys seemed to draw even in the grapple and it seemed the deciding factor was in Tomahawks aggression and boxing combinations. In the end Michael seemed the clear winner and was certainly a real crowd favourite. Congratulations to all the fighters on the night. All full list of results will be posted later during the week.
Don’t forget to check out this Sunday 11 Oct. 09 “Next Generation” on at the Beenleigh arena for more Muay Thai action! Stay tuned for results as Muay Thai Gyms from the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast (and from other parts of Australia) bringing our future hopes and dreams to another spectacular Prophecy Promotions Muay Thai EVENT!
